surfing in korea

The only surf school the first surfers attended was the school of hard knocks, heavy wipe outs, and plenty of peer pressure. You may be fired up and ready to surf, but don t jump the gun.

When paddling out, always charge straight at the wave as hard as you can. If they were not easy to carry and use then nobody would be surfing today because there are many people who have to walk for awhile before they can surf and nobody wants to carry a hundred pound wood surfboard. Another good reason to not go it alone initially is because surfing, like any sport, can be dangerous for the uninitiated.

Any surf instructor worth their salt will make sure that you only surf in conditions that are safe for your level of experience. The soft construction of the board ensures you don't get hurt during the spills while you still enjoy the thrills. In surfing contests, dropping in is heavily penalized.

Once you are confident and can catch waves easily, you can attempt to stand up on your board. If you are surfing on a patrolled beach make sure that you keep within the designated surfing area.
