safe surfing on the internet

Thinking of buying a new board or are you learning to surf. In the early 1900 s the Hawaiians organized the Hui Nalu surf club and competed in neighborly surf competitions with the Outrigger Canoe Club.

Don't under estimate the kids who are most likely 8 year old to mid teens, its amazing how young these kids start surfing waves. While many men enjoy seeing women out in the lineup there are still some who refuse to share the waves with their female counterparts. You can find a private surf instructor by simply searching the internet for a surf instructor in the area in which you want to learn how to surf, they will surely be knowledgeable about all regional beaches and together you will choose the surf break best suited for you.

Don't push yourself too far, especially when starting out and learning to surf. Also, wetsuits are often provided with your sessions, but you can always have your own. When paddling, try and get the board planing, that is, not having the nose of your board either under water, or sticking out too far.

Practice paddling the board and jumping up quickly, all in one motion. And don't be afraid to ask the sales people in surf shops or other surfers about their experiences with different boards so you can make the most informed decision.
