surfing charizard

Don't go and paddle out the back until you have mastered the whitewater. The Polynesians began the sacred ritualistic sport here more than 500 years ago.

After you candidly rate your skill level, you can start narrowing down the type of board that will work with your skill level and help bring you to the next level. Once you take all of these into account you then get to look at the surfboard itself. So let's just take a quick look at a few boards, what they are designed for, and who should buy them.

No matter your skill level there are days when the surf accommodates to all levels but one thing is sure you must always use caution and never jump into the water if you are uncertain of the conditions. In July, professional surfers gather here for the Billabong Pro tournament. Hopefully you already know that a rip is a strong current that generally goes straight out to sea.

Respect the locals if you are visiting a beach. Don't make the mistake of eating and surfing.
