panama surfing

You may be fired up and ready to surf, but don t jump the gun. Learn to choose your surfing conditions and read the waves.

If you want to learn to surf, skip the trial and error and get a good instructor. Some people swear by longboards for their entire surfing career, claiming that they are faster and simply more fun. Even experienced surfers will sometimes be caught off guard when the sets pop up a little early then expected.

Paddling well takes some time to learn but you need to do it. And they can tell you the other surfing equipment you'll need, like surfboard wax, a leash, and a rashguard or wetsuit. Practise is the key to surfing, and where many beginners fail.

Good surfing instruction really does make a world of difference. Take note of where you should be surfing before you go out, and make sure you stick to it when you are out.
