maui hawaii surfing

The only surf school the first surfers attended was the school of hard knocks, heavy wipe outs, and plenty of peer pressure. It can be a challenge to find the right surfboard with so many choices out there.

People of all ages are drawn to the majesty of our beautiful oceans. There are even surf clothing and surfboard manufacturers who cater specifically to women. Others feel that longboards are great for learning, but after a year or two, a no longer newbie surfer can get more out of shortboard or a fish or a fun board.

In the summertime, the water is flat and is a charming spot for snorkeling, fishing and swimming. This kind of wipeout is very common with new surfers as they have yet to learn to read the waves properly and don't have the technique to rectify the problem, you will go over the falls so get used to it, it is no fun, but it will make you a better surfer the more you do it. With the advent of rash guard shirts, surfers could say goodbye to slippery sunscreens that wash off in the water.

Take note of where you should be surfing before you go out, and make sure you stick to it when you are out. Best of all, there are definitely places to find instructors and lessons at a great price.
